With so much news about the human impact on the environment, maybe we don’t always stop and think about how each purchase we make contributes to that. The shocking stat is that the fashion industry, (especially the fast fashion industry), is the second largest polluter after the oil and gas industry! And washing fabrics like polyester sends 500,000 tons of micro-plastics into our oceans yearly. Learn more about the devastating impact of the fashion industry on the environment.
