Sat Oct 24, 1:30pm - Young Canadian's Parliament - Anti-Black racism

Every child has the right to a life free from discrimination of any form.

While this right is enshrined in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, we know that this is far from being a reality for Black children and their families. Systemic racism prevents Black children from reaching their fullest potential. We want to support community efforts that are working to do something about this.

It’s time for change!

The Young Canadians’ Parliament – a growing movement of children and youth – invites you to a national digital event on the realities of anti-Black racism in Canada and how young people can play a role in addressing it!

The YCP digital events are open to anyone under 18 years old

Date: Saturday, October 24, 2020
